Operosa Montenegro Opera Festival

Operosa was founded in 2006 to promote dynamic opera talent in the Balkan region. The aim of Operosa is to focus on repertoire ideally suited for young opera singers while working with established international guest artistic directors and showcasing opera as a modern form of art.

The Festival combines unique performances with rich cultural heritage in Montenegro, Serbia and Bulgaria.
Operosa has also developed a Young Singers’ Educational Program Operosa Academia with Master Classes, Recitals, Lectures and Workshops in topics varying from interpretation and history of operatic periods to business issues such as current debates about European opera collaboration and funding.

The Operosa Forum is the social network of all aspiring and established international opera and classical music professionals and friends of the art of opera. It is the platform where artists can network between engagements and present examples of their latest work. The Forum also encourages direct dialog between the various opera establishments and the next generation of opera artists.
