Since 2012, Joe Joe's Hog Shack, a Maryland-based sauce maker, has been innovating delicious, hand-crafted barbecue sauces using a proprietary blend of spices, sugars and fruit. What started as a hobby making homemade sauces for trips up and down the East Coast and for weekends at the hunt lodge quickly turned into a passion for making high-quality, small-batch speciality sauce.
Today, our molasses-thick tomato-based Kansas City barbecue sauces like our original Sweet 'N' Tangy, our spicy, vinegar-based Carolina style sauce, and the aromatic Peachy Bourbon and Blackberry Sauce are a staple on the picnic table, at cookouts, and at KCBS events.
